Our National Safety Council Defensive Driving Courses teach drivers how to recognize and react to immediate and potential hazardous driving situations and conditions. Our NSC Certified Instructor-led, classroom courses provide collision prevention strategies and defensive driving techniques that focus on behavior, judgement, decision making and consequences.

​

These highly interactive courses will help influence drivers to make positive choices to improve driving behaviors and attitudes and encourage respectful and lawful decisions to avoid motor vehicle incidents and decrease traffic violations.

We offer several variations to this program and can tailor it to fit the needs of your team and organization.

              8-Hour Program: 

• Most comprehensive defensive driving curriculum.   

  • Includes Risk Scenarios.

  • Ideal for New employee orientation.

​

              6-Hour Program:

• Offers the foundation of defensive driving. 

  • Teaches to recognize hazards and cope with dangerous driving scenarios.

  • Ideal for laying a foundation and combining with our behind-the-wheel checklist training.

   

              4-Hour Program: 

• Refresher training for all employees. 

  • Instructs participants to be a safe driver and to avoid high-risk behaviors.

  • Perfect refresher for all employees – recommended once every 5 years.

  

Optional Behind- the- Wheel add-on to any course. In addition to the classroom training, attendees drive individually with our Certified Instructor and are given comprehensive driving skills review/instruction and perform a vehicle check prior to driving.
