Service Description

Any person responsible for the selection, inspection and operation of rigging slings, equipment, and hardware for the purpose of attaching loads to overhead cranes and hoists including persons directing the movements of a crane. The information presented in this course teaches individuals the Occupational Safety and Health Administration §1910.184 regulations and applicable ASME B30 standards. APPLICABLE REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS: OSHA §1910.184 “Slings” ASME B30.2 “Overhead and Gantry Cranes” ASME B30.9 “slings ASME B30.10 “Hooks” ASME B30.20 “Below the Hook Lifting Devices” ASME B30.26 “Rigging Hardware”
