Looking for ways to build resilience

within and among your team members and organization?

Resilience is about preparing for and learning from adversity. Most of life’s problems are not sudden and overt. They are small daily irritations, or triggers, that over time cause strain and exhaustion. Most adverse incidents that occur are proceeded by these triggers. The key competency (we call “Raw Coping Power”) is the ability to work with these triggers and strains so that they provide the opportunity for growth. It is possible to move from barely coping, to coping well, to resilience, to thriving.

Join Dr. Gaal as he covers the following Learning Objectives:

· Identify the difference between coping, resiliency and thriving and how to achieve a level of thriving

· Identify how individuals and groups can turn stress into growth

· Recognize the value of resiliency programs to leaders, employees and the community

· Identify how to utilize resiliency programs and adapt them to the intended audience

Dr. John Gaal, is trained through the National Wellness Institute (NWI), in collaboration with Organizational Wellness Learning Systems (OWLS), in a new system that integrates NWI's 6 Dimensions of Wellness model with the concepts of stress, resilience, and thriving.
