The Safety Council of Greater St. Louis serves the St. Louis community through a variety of programs including Community Safety, Defensive Driving Programs, Substance Abuse, Occupational Safety Classes and Training, Behavior and Court Related Programs, First Aid and CPR and is sponsor for the St. Louis Safety Conference held annually.

ABOUT THE SAFETY COUNCIL OF GREATER ST. LOUIS

The Safety Council of Greater St. Louis is a Non-Profit 501 (C) (3), Non-Governmental, Public Service Organization, chartered by the U.S. Congress to bring safety education to the nation to reduce preventable injuries and accidental deaths.  The Council has been promoting safety to the community since 1916.  It has undergone many changes and improvements during the last 97 years.  The Safety Council of Greater St. Louis is committed to making Metropolitan St. Louis a safer place in which to live, work, and play.  Our goal is accomplished through the active participation of our members and the community in a variety of safety related educational programs and activities.  These programs are financed by the program fees, memberships and contributions.
