ABOUT
THE SAFETY COUNCIL OF GREATER ST. LOUIS
The
Safety Council of Greater St. Louis in a Non-Profit
501 (C) (3), Non-Governmental, Public Service
Organization, chartered by the U.S. Congress to
bring safety education to the nation to reduce
preventable injuries and accidental deaths.
The Council has been promoting safety to the
community since 1916. It has undergone many
changes and improvements during the last 97
years. The Safety Council of Greater St. Louis
is committed to making Metropolitan St. Louis a
safer place in which to live, work, and play.
Our goal is accomplished through the active
participation of our members and the community in a
variety of safety related educational programs and
activities. These programs are financed by the
program fees, memberships and contributions.
If you
have any questions, please do not hesitate to
contact the Safety Council for your safety
educational needs. The Council looks forward
to the opportunity of helping serve the Metropolitan
St. Louis community in making it a better, safer
place to live, work and play.
