SATOP
- Substance Abuse Traffic Offender Program
SATOP is the State of Missouri, Department of
Mental Health program that is required for those
individuals who receive DWI/DUI offenses.
Missouri law requires all persons arrested for an
alcohol or drug related traffic offense to complete
and assessment screening at an OMU. The fee
for the SATOP assessment is $375, which is comprised
of a $126 screening fee and a $249 supplemental fee,
due at the time of the assessment. The result
of this evaluation determines the appropriate level
(ADEP; OEP; WIP; CIP; YCIP or Level IV) of placement
for each consumer. For more information visit http://dmh.mo.gov
