BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION

ANGER MANAGEMENT
This ten (10) hour education program assists the client with domestic violence, workplace, assault, or aggressive behavior problems.  The client explores various anger and aggression diversion management skills with emphasis on successful approaches to resolution of behavioral issues.  The fee is $100.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
The Safety Council places, monitors and coordinates service activities with the clients, courts and service agencies throughout the community for the individual placed on Community Service.  The fee is $60.

BAD CHECK / MONEY MANAGEMENT
This unique four (4) hour program is designed for the person who requires, or would like to have a basic primer for personal budgeting and money management.  Learning how to spend less but still live well takes skill, determination, and know how but it can be done!  The class explores the social, economic, legal and emotional needs for having financial security, good money management skills and helps each person begin to deal with individual motivations.  The fee is $100.

SHOPLIFTING / PETTY LARCENY
This unique three (3) hour program designed for the person arrested for stealing, shoplifting or petty larceny.  The class explores the social, economic, legal and emotional consequences of theft and helps each person begin to deal with individual motivations.  The fee is $75.

DRIVING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS

DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS (DDC-8)
The National Safety Council's eight (8) hour Driver Improvement Program is approved throughout the United States for driving record point reduction.  Taught by National Safety Council certified instructors, it is designed to improve the student's defensive driving skills.  DDC-8 is an intensive learning experience that requires active student participation.  This classroom based course focuses on improving both attitudes and behaviors behind the wheel.  The fee is $50.

NOTE: The DDC-8 class is appropriate for clients having traffic violations in Missouri, Illinois and other states requiring 4, 6 or 8 hours of driver improvement training.  Many insurance companies offer a discount for those who successfully completed DDC-8.  Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS (DDC-4)
The National Safety Council's four (4) hour Driver Improvement Program is approved in some states for driving record point reduction.  Taught by National Safety Council certified instructors, it is designed to improve the student's defensive driving skills.  DDC-4 is an intensive learning experience that requires active student participation.  This classroom based course focuses on improving both attitudes and behaviors behind the wheel.  The fee is $40.
